Poodles are extremely people-oriented dogs and generally needing to please. Standard Poodles in particular usually are good with children. Poodles are adaptable and easy to train. Like most dogs, many people appreciate daily exercise, such to be a walk or a play program. Most are fairly agile along with athletic. Toy Poodles will play ball and wish to fetch. Play time is critical, but one must be sure they get plenty of relax following long play periods knowning that fresh water is available at all times.
