In the last few days there have been some developments that would indicate that we will indeed be able to take all of our homebrew and freeware games, apps and multimedia and use them on day one, on the new 3DS. Although it's been in development for several years, only a few games will run at playable speeds. Using the shortcut menu you may add your favorite games onto the shortcut list.
