This is the most expensive set in the series (so far) but it isn't something that I would recommend for casual collectors unless you want to convert it or find it at a drastically reduced price. If you are out shopping for your kid, then other than wasting time on other products, get Lego games for your kids as they will not only love this popular format of constructing and playing, but they will learn the concept of construction in the process.
