The area around Sukhumvit road is popular amongst expatriates and upper class locals. It is probably the area that has the most hotels in Bangkok. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and nightclub around, making it a good choice if you are looking to party at night. Popular nightclubs in this area include the Climax, the Supperclub and Q bar.
