Gales are continuing across southern areas of the United kingdom, with coastal places going through west bearing the brunt of the strongest winds and large rain. Forecasters mentioned gusts arrived at 80mph alongside the coasts of Cornwall, the Bristol Channel and west Wales. The Setting Agency has warned of a "considerable risk" of even more flooding throughout Devon and Cornwall.
