Today, the songs scene has transformed and blossomed, and lovers of jazz, salsa, hip hop, folk, punk and electronica will get venues and reflections of these genre reflected anywhere. Songs like "Cheerleader", "Northern Lights", and "Neutered Fruit" recall something nostalgic within me. An intimate little club gives music a good deal richer flavor than some canned arena show. Cale's spectral croon and droning viola work proved invaluable for the uniqueness of each of those records.
