Thankfully for these people, there are a few MMORPGs that are just as enjoyable as anything that's out on the market, but aren't huge time sinks. Learn how to run around without running into walls, learn to kill mobs without being killed every time, learn how to set up your UI (user interface) and just learn how to look competent in general. Of course MMORPGs are still a viable (and safe) way of having fun.
