The genera of Aloes has over 250 varieties, but hardly four move significant healing or therapeutic properties. The best generally full-blown for its high might is the Aloe barbadensis miller descendants and in common parlance called the Aloe vera plant. Alloeh, an Arabic communication for "Shining bitter substance" may be the root word for Aloe, while the Latin word vera purpose "true" is the origin of the word itself as is hand-me-down.
